I went to see my grandma in hospital today. I’ve not seen her for months, simply because I’m always away at university.. I thought I’d be okay with it, but it really shocked me. She used to be so strong. Lots of tears. Hundreds.

I know it sounds terribly cheesy, but I’m so full of appreciation for life.
I got home for christmas. I didn’t get stuck in the snow. I’m home with the most loving family anyone could possibly ask for. I get to see my grandparents tomorrow and my brother and his family the day after.
My heart is aching because I am so happy. I’m home! Where I belong. What else could...

The Best Birthday In The World.
I have had the best birthday in the world. I’m no longer a teenager! Hurrah!
It snowed. Oh it snowed. Lots of it. Heaps of the stuff. Such a good birthday present.
I got to go home and see my mum and dad, go to 2 carol services, one by candlelight, which added a kind of edge to the carols.. I was prett scared i was going to set myself or someone else, or my word sheet alight…Came out...
I really would love to be in bed by now
but, sadly I have to wait for the washing machine to finish. Household tasks are so mind numbingly boring.

What a week!
It’s been one of those weeks where everything just seems to happen at once. It’s been pretty wonderful. On wednesday night, just before bed, Si my housemate sliced his hand open and we spent the rest of the night in Selly Oak A&E department. It somehow turned into quite a good night though…..
The night after, all five of us in the house got together and we put the tree up....
